How to apply conditional formatting to your charts in Looker Studio

You can add conditional formatting to your charts in Looker Studio, so they display a specific style when certain conditions are met.

Within a chart’s Style, you can add rules to apply conditional formatting.

By clicking on Add Rule, a window will appear where you can input the conditional formatting and its conditions. In the image below, the configured rule will colour cells green (this particular rule was created for a table) that have a value of 3 or more for the metric Record count.

Here is the table with the conditional formatting applied.

Conditional formatting is not available for all charts in Looker Studio, but it is for many of them.

Have you ever used conditional formatting for your visualisations in Looker Studio?
